Thanks to all of our members who made year-end donations to the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation in November and December!
Quite a few of those contributions were made through various electronic portals: On November 17, the ACLU-MN Foundation was one of dozens of Minnesota nonprofits that participated in "Give to the Max Day." This was spearheaded by GiveMN.org and produced over $8,000 in gifts from our members to which were added another $500 in matching funds from local foundations. The www.giveMN.org portal will remain open indefinitely, and in fact, the ACLU-MN Foundation received another $500.00 at year's end from a generous friend.
Another electronic portal can be found right on the ACLU-MN homepage. Any time you're perusing our website and find yourself moved by news of our work to champion those whose civil liberties have been trespassed, just click the "SUPPORT US" button and your dollars will be transformed into action!
For those who like to shop on-line, you can support the ACLU-MN when you buy quality products through www.iGive.com. Depending on your purchase, up to 8% will be contributed to the ACLU-MN.
