Charles Samuelson was born near Buffalo, New York and attended Hamburg High School. He graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Medieval History and a minor in political science. He studied at Freiburg University in Germany and pursued a doctorate in Medieval History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He moved to the Twin Cities in 1977 and has pursued a career in the non-profit sector for the past 25 years. He lives in a Twin Cities suburb with his wife and two children. Charles Samuelson
