Ramsey County Warrant Resolution Day

Last year's Warrant Forgiveness Day in Hennepin County was so successful, we are co-hosting one in Ramsey County! Ramsey County has joined forces with the ACLU of Minnesota, the NAACP, and UJAMAA Place to host a warrant resolution event. Warrant Resolution Day offers an opportunity for individuals who meet the specific warrant criteria to come to a pre-determined and safe location in the community, without fear of being arrested, and work with attorneys and judges to address active warrants and take actions to resolve or move forward with any underlying court case.

When: May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: High School of the Recording Arts
1166 University Avenue W.
Saint Paul, MN 55104

The event is a unique partnership between local government, including Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, Ramsey County Public Defenders, Second Judicial District Court, Saint Paul City Attorney’s Office, Ramsey Suburban Prosecutors Group and Community Corrections, and community-based groups including the Minneapolis National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), UJAMAA Place, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office processes arrest warrants as required by state statute and offers the public an online portal to view active Ramsey County warrants at ramseycountysheriff.us. More information can be found at ramseycounty.us/warrantday

Pre-registration is not needed for the event. If people have questions, they can contact ACLU-MN's Public Education Director Jana Kooren at 651-485-5925 or jkooren@aclu-mn.org
