Become a Poll Worker

In the midst of a global pandemic, Minnesota faces a massive shortage of poll workers, especially in our most populous counties and city centers. Our state needs more Minnesotans to serve as poll workers especially those who are the following:

Younger Minnesotans who are at lower risk of COVID-19 complications,
Lawyers committed to understanding the ins and outs of election law and administration, or
Tech-savvy to help keep the electronic voter machines up and running.

Poll Worker Requirements

  • You must be eligible to vote in Minnesota
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Students 16 and 17 years-old can be election judge trainees.
