Membership in the ACLU of Minnesota supports our non-partisan legislative and grassroots advocacy. When you become an ACLU member in Minnesota you also become a member of the National ACLU and vice-versa. Membership gifts are not tax-deductible.

Make a Gift In Memory of Someone

A tribute gift to the ACLU of Minnesota Foundation is a meaningful way to honor someone special while helping to protect civil liberties and human rights in Minnesota and nationwide.

Make a Tribute Gift

Give stock: Making a gift of stock is an easy and advantageous way to provide for the ACLU of Minnesota Foundation. After arranging for your contribution of stock, please let us know so we can acknowledge your generosity. Stock that is transferred electronically does not identify the donor.

Leave a Legacy: A will is the cornerstone of any estate plan, whether you're wealthy or not. It's also the most popular way to leave a legacy with the ACLU.

Host an Event and Request a ACLU-MN Speaker: Personal events help bring knowledge of the ACLU to communities across the state, educate Minnesotans about their rights, and collect donations that support our work.

Pledge through United Way: List the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota Foundation, PO Box 14720, Minneapolis, MN 55414 to ensure that your designated gift goes to the right agency — many have similar names. Submit designation information at the time of the donation.
