Lynette joined the ACLU-MN as our communications director after 25 years of working in nonprofit advocacy and journalism. She previously worked at AFSCME Council 5 as communications coordinator; and at Chicago Public Radio (WBEZ) as an editor, reporter, training director, and manager of a fellowship designed to increase the diversity of voices in public radio. Before that, she was a reporter at several newspapers, most recently the Chicago Tribune. Lynette graduated from Michigan State University as a journalism major.
