This town hall will focus on how to advocate for school district policies that protect LBGTQ+ students. We will cover know-your-rights information, how to identify good policies for school districts, and recent litigation updates regarding students’ rights to play a sport according to their gender identity. You will hear from ACLU-MN experts and community leaders about how you can support the work of school leaders through becoming engaged advocates.

Are you a member of the ACLU of Minnesota? We're gearing up for the (virtual) annual meeting, and all members are invited! Members will vote on new board members, hear reports about the organization's activities and financial condition, and conduct other business: Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m. Zoom Advance registration is required for the Zoom meeting. The registration deadline is midnight on Tuesday, April 14. This event is for members only. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to join the meeting. As federal agents continue to patrol our streets, we invite you to learn about our recent federal and state court cases, how we’ve been showing up in community with you all, and what more we are going to accomplish. A team of ACLU-MN experts will give updates and then we will open the floor to you for questions.
