Evening of Dissent: Power (Back) to the People is the ACLU of Minnesota's new fundraising event, taking the place of our annual breakfast.
As we are watching history repeat itself in real time, we are reminded of one eternal truth: what we do today, matters tomorrow.
For over 70 years, the ACLU of Minnesota has been defending people's civil liberties to protect against violating government overreach. Because of those that came before us, and the work they did, we have the protections and tools to defend civil liberties today.
Now is the time that we must become the shoulders future generations stand on.
What actions are we taking to not only to defend our civil liberties now, but to enshrine them for future generations?
What do young adults want for the future of their civil liberties?
What are we doing to protect civil liberties today to help further the advancement of civil liberties in years to come?
