June 30 is a nationwide call-to-action for #FamiliesBelongTogether. ACLU has partnered with MoveOn.org, National Domestic Workers Alliance, and The Leadership Conference to encourage folks across the country to speak out against the cruel and inhumane practice of detaining children and separating them from their families.
In order to prepare for the Families Belong Together - Minneapolis March & Day of Action, we are hosting a poster making and letter writing night on Friday, June 29. Come meet fellow activists, make posters, and write letters calling for an end to this shameful practice.
The event will be family-friendly and we will have light snacks. RSVP so that we can know how many people to expect!
