Are You Looking for a Meaningful and Engaging Internship?
We’re looking for the next generation of leaders who dare to create a more perfect union. At the ACLU of Minnesota, we’ve been dedicated to expanding civil liberties and civil rights since 1952. As the state’s guardians of liberty, we work in the courts, Legislature, and our communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the state and U.S. Constitutions and laws.
Whether it’s ending mass incarceration, achieving full equality for the LGBTQ community, advancing racial justice, establishing new privacy protections for our digital age, or preserving the right to vote and the right to have an abortion, the ACLU-MN takes on the toughest civil liberties cases and issues to defend all people from government abuse and overreach.
With more than 8.5 million members, the national ACLU fights tirelessly in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington D.C., for the principle that every individual’s rights must be protected equally under the law, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, national origin, or record of arrest or conviction.
