As a Community Organizer and Communications Intern dedicated to immigrant rights, you will play a crucial role in advocating for the rights and well-being of immigrants in the community.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A MEANINGFUL AND ENGAGING INTERNSHIP?
The ACLU of Minnesota's internship program seeks to develop the next generation of leaders who dare to create a more perfect union. Since 1952, ACLU-MN has been the state's premier guardian of liberty, working in the Courts, at the Capitol, and in communities to defend and expand the civil liberties and civil rights of all Minnesotans. We are nonprofit and nonpartisan.
As an affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union, we are part of a national organization that is 1.8 million members strong. Whether it’s protecting reproductive rights, achieving full equality for the LGBTQ community, advancing racial justice, establishing new privacy protections for our digital age or preserving the right to vote, the ACLU and ACLU-MN take up the toughest cases and issues to defend against government abuse and overreach. The ACLU fights tirelessly in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C., for the principle that every individual’s rights must be protected equally under the law, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, national origin, and record of arrest or conviction.
