The state Court of Appeals just overturned a ruling that could have taken the vote from some Minnesotans. To make it crystal clear, this ruling means people on felony probation, parole or supervision can vote next week.
Caps the maximum probation sentence at five years, except for murder and certain criminal sexual conduct convictions. This bill also allows the court to release a defendant early, before the maximum term would end.
