Guilty by Association Bill

Makes protesters and their supporters both criminally and civilly liable for damage to or trespasses on “critical infrastructure,” even if done by others.

• Explicitly aimed at deterring demonstrations at or near controversial fossil fuel projects, such as the proposed Enbridge Line 3 pipeline
• Violates the right to due process, freedom of speech and freedom of assembly
• Would chill protected speech
