As we await the Minnesota Supreme Court’s decision in Schroeder v. Simon, the ACLU of Minnesota supports House File 28 (Senate File 26), which would restore the right to vote for individuals convicted of a felony upon completion of any term of incarceration imposed and executed by a court for the offense.

People who are now living in the community, raising families, and paying taxes deserve a say through voting in elections.
