An 11-year-old girl was hit and killed by a stray bullet in 2002. Police focused on Myon Burrell, who was 16. He was sentenced to life in prison. But an investigation into Burrell’s case by the Associated Press and American Public Media found new evidence that has cast deep doubt on his conviction.
