​​​​​​​The American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota has reached a settlement with the City of Saint Paul over our lawsuit to get public data that officials had improperly withheld for more than 18 months. 

The ACLU of Minnesota applauds the Minnesota Board of Pardons’ decision to commute Myon Burrell’s sentence and to immediately release him from prison, and we urge the board to grant him a full pardon.

Waseca prison Warden M. Starr and Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons Michael Carvajal are refusing to release medically vulnerable people and failing to provide adequate health care or sanitation, according to the lawsuit by the ACLU of Minnesota and Ballard Spahr LLP.
