Catherine has more than two decades experience as an attorney, partner, litigation practice group leader and most recently, Public Interest Counsel at Maslon LLP in Minneapolis. As Public Interest Counsel, Catherine lead teams representing pro bono clients in cases in state and federal court, and in immigration cases before immigration officers and judges. Catherine was also the founder and director of UPLIFT Legal Institute for Teens - a nonprofit pipeline program offering mock trial and mentoring opportunities to 8th grade and high school students.
Catherine graduated from Columbia University School of Law in New York and Smith College in Massachusetts. Minnesota Lawyer named Catherine a Diversity and Inclusion Honoree in 2020 and Attorney of the Year in 2018.
