Dan is a part of our team of attorneys who represent clients who have had their civil liberties threatened. A noted anti-trust litigator, he also has taken on a number of pro bono cases including school desegregation, police brutality and freedom of speech. Dan received his law degree from Harvard Law School and has practiced law for 50 years. Currently, he serves on the board of directors for the Legal Rights Center in Minneapolis and he has taken special interest in restorative youth justice. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers; a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; and a Fellow Emeritus of the Litigation Counsel of America. He was named a Minnesota Lawyer of the Year in 2012 and 2018, and has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America and the Best Lawyers in Minnesota for more than two decades. When he is not fighting for civil liberties, he follows the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
