Pride month offers us a chance to reflect on the victories won by the LGBTQ Rights Movement in America. Here at ACLU-MN, we've been fighting for LGBTQ+ rights for 70 years, and we're just getting started!
Whether it's protecting the rights of trans kids, or ensuring the right of same-sex parents to have equal, legal protection of their own children, we know that there is much work to be done to bring equality to our LGBTQ+ family.
And, of course, we also take time during Pride to celebrate:
The ACLU-MN will be marching in the annual Pride Parade, and we have a booth at the festival. Please come see us in the Blue Section in Loring Park. Take a photo on the selfie wall, pick up a Pride sign or pin designed by All Are Welcome Here, and learn more about the ACLU of Minnesota.
