Office Hours with ACLU-MN Community Engagement Director Jana Kooren and Organizer Ismael Dore

May 21, 2020 @ 4:30 pm 5:30 pm

We know you have questions about your rights and liberties during this frightening, frustrating time. That's why we created ACLU-MN Office Hours, a virtual event that allows you to drop in and get your most pressing questions answered by one of our staff experts.

This week, we'll be dropping in on ACLU-MN Community Engagement Director Jana Kooren and organizer Ismael Dore, who oversees many of our organizing and advocacy campaigns. They can answer questions like:

  • How are youth and students doing during the pandemic? What are some unique threats to their rights and liberty during this crisis?

  • What other tools are organizers and activists using right now to advocate for change? What strategies are working (and what's not working) during the pandemic?

  • How can every Minnesotan make sure their vote counts in the upcoming election? What barriers to voting still exist in our state, and can we solve these problems before Election Day?

Tune into Facebook Live on Thursday, May 21 at 4:30 p.m. CT to ask your questions live. If you can't watch live, drop us an email at communications@aclu-mn.org, and come back later to watch the video and hear Jana and Ismael respond to your concerns.
