We are looking for volunteers for the Minnesota State Fair. This year the Minnesota State Fair runs from August 24 through September 4 and is one of the largest state fairs in the entire country. Nearly 2 million people visit the state fair annually. Help us spread the amazing work the ACLU of Minnesota is doing at this year's state fair!
Volunteering: There are four shifts a day that are each three hours. There will be two volunteers per shift. Shifts will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. All volunteers will be provided a free t-shirt and, if needed, a ticket to the state fair.
The shifts run from:
- 8:50 AM – 12:00 PM
- 12:00 – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 – 6:00 PM
- 6:00 – 9:10 PM

All volunteers will need to attend ONE of our mandatory training sessions prior to the state fair.
- Training 1: Thursday, August 17th, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Training 2: Saturday, August 19th, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Training 3: Tuesday, August 22nd, 12 Noon - 1:00 PM
