ACLU-MN Settles Lawsuit Over Withholding of SPPD Data
The American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota has reached a settlement with the City of Saint Paul over our lawsuit to get public data that officials had improperly withheld for more than 18 months.
The 2020 election is finally behind us. Getting us to the point where every vote was counted, and more people voted, took a massive year-long effort by the ACLU of Minnesota.
The Minneapolis City Council has passed the Safety For All Budget, investing $7.77 million in mental health crisis responses and violence prevention. While this would by no means solve all our problems, it's a vital step in the right direction and a pivotal moment for our city
