The organization that filed a lawsuit in Minnesota last year to bar trans students from using locker rooms consistent with their gender identity today announced that they were dismissing their case.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit together with the ACLUs of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin demanding government documents about the implementation of President Trump's Muslim bans.
The First Amendment's protections of freedom of speech, assembly, petition, and religion are considered by many to be the most important and valued rights protected by the Constitution.
